A fantastic family day out, Universal Studios is the world’s
biggest and busiest motion picture and television studio/theme park.
Copies of daily schedules can be found at the entrance, which list
the various shows and attractions available. This is a good way of
making sure you get the most out of the day.
Backlot Tour is a good starting point. It includes classics such
as Kongfrontation, Jaws and Amity Harbour, the Psycho house, Little
Europe Streetscape and Earthquake:The Big One. The excellent Back
to the Future simulator ride, the Nickelodeon Blast Zone For Kids
and many other exciting shows and revues are located at the Upper
Lot. Trolley tours depart from this area on a regular basis.
The Upper Lot and Lower Lot are linked by a quarter-mile escalator
and this is where the heart of the working studio complex is located.
There are several magnificent sections well worth visiting including,
Universal’s $100million Jurassic Park, which has a land of
five- storey dinosaurs built with the aid of aerospace scientists.
There is also a Backdraft presentation with state of the art special
effects and a cycle ride with the legendry E.T.
Overall, Universal Studios provides a wonderful and unforgettable
experience and is well worth the trip. |
